Seven credits. 105 learning hours. One semester. A practical pathway to AI fluency for working professionals.

The AIT School of Professional Intelligence (AITSPIN) at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is accepting applications for the January 2027 intake of its Executive AI Certificate, a seven-credit program designed to help executives, managers and working professionals build the knowledge and practical skills needed to navigate an increasingly AI-driven world.

Delivered over one semester, the program combines AI literacy, data reasoning, generative and agentic AI, and insights from international experts. No programming background is required.

The early application deadline is 1 November 2026, followed by the final deadline of 15 December 2026.

Learn AI Without Putting Your Career on Hold

Designed around the schedules of working professionals, the Executive AI Certificate combines 105 learning hours over 15 weeks, with an average commitment of seven hours per week.

AITSPIN's HyFlex Shared Classroom model allows learners to participate either on campus at AIT in Thailand or online, with live interaction between faculty and participants regardless of location.

Classes are scheduled during evenings and weekends, allowing professionals to continue working while developing new capabilities.

Three Courses, One Executive AI Certificate

The seven-credit program comprises three credit-bearing courses.

PIN 101: AI and Data Reasoning for Professionals

Develop the ability to interpret data, evaluate AI-generated insights and make better-informed professional decisions.

PIN 102: Generative and Agentic AI for Professional Productivity

Explore how generative AI and AI agents can support professional workflows, improve productivity and create new opportunities within organizations.

PIN 104: Professional Intelligence Seminar

Engage with distinguished academics, industry leaders and practitioners from around the world, exploring emerging technologies, leadership challenges and the wider implications of AI for business and society.

Together, these courses provide a practical foundation for evaluating AI opportunities, understanding risks, ethics and privacy, and leading responsible AI adoption in the workplace.

From Executive Certificate to Professional Master's Degree

The Executive AI Certificate is also part of AITSPIN's stackable learning pathway.

Learners can begin with the seven-credit certificate and progressively build towards a 24-credit Professional Diploma or a 36-credit MSc (Professional) in Professional Intelligence.

Credits earned through the certificate may count towards these higher qualifications, subject to AIT admission requirements and academic regulations.

This flexible approach allows professionals to begin with a manageable learning commitment while keeping longer-term academic and career opportunities open.

Who Should Apply?

The Executive AI Certificate is intended for executives, senior managers, entrepreneurs and professionals across industries who wish to understand and apply AI in their work.

Applicants are normally expected to hold a bachelor's degree and have at least three years of professional experience. Applicants with more than 10 years of relevant professional experience may be considered for exemption from the degree requirement.

No prior programming experience is necessary.
